SPROUTING

  • Sprouted grains, seeds, beans and nuts have the highest life giving elements of any other food source on the planet. They contain the highest top three necessary components for vibrant health:
    1. Oxygen
    2. Enzymes
    3. Bioelectricity
They also have the highest concentrations of phytochemicals, vitamins and minerals. To put it simply, sprouts are the healthiest food choice available and are the health food of the future. The chart on page 217 shows how the vitamin B2 content is 13 times higher in sprouted oats compared to raw oats and 100 times higher in sprouted oats compared to cooked oats.
To see how complete these sprouts are, we can take an example of a sprouted mung bean. It has the following contents:
—vitamin A content of a lemon
    —thiamin content of an avocado
    —riboflavin content of an apple
    —niacin content of a banana
—vitamin C content of a pineapple
    —calcium content of a plum
    —potassium content of a papaya
    —iron content of a loganberry
Because sprouts are growing, living food, they are predigested and have a higher biological efficiency than raw or cooked foods. Biological efficiency is the ability to get to the cells of the body what you initially put into your mouth when you ate. The higher the value, the more easily the food is digested and assimilated by the body. Remember, it’s not what you eat that counts, but what gets into each of the cells of your body.
Sprouts tremendous regenerating effects on the body are attributed to their superior:
    1. Oxygen content
    2. Enzyme content
    3. Bioelectricity
    4. Phytochemical content
    5. Vitamin content
    6. Vitamin cofactor content
    7. Mineral content
They also have high RNA and DNA nucleic acid amounts, which are necessary for all living cells to function and are only found in living cells. Synthetic vitamins are not living food with all these necessary components.
Sprouts are the health food of the future because they are
  • cost effective,
  • much more than organic produce
  • easy to grow  can be grown anywhere, in any season with the help of a plant grow light
  • Since sprouting is so vital to one’s health, one can either sprout with:
    1. Sprouting Jars- Most economical but limited to the variety of sprouts you can sprout (no wheat grass, barley grass, sunflower greens or buckwheat greens). Also, you must rinse the sprouts three times per day every day so you must be close to the house throughout the day. All in all this sprouting is easy, and a great way to add living food into your diet every day.
    2. Sprouting Trays- This is done by putting soil on trays and planting the seeds in the soil, watering them 1 time per day, and keeping them under a plant grow light. This method works well with wheat grass, barley grass, sunflower and buckwheat greens.
